Proud to be a supportive ally of the " Le communautaire à boutte!" movement
Participating in the 5th World Conference on Women's Shelters (5WCWS), held from September 15 to 18, 2025, was a deeply enriching experience for our team. There, we met committed women from around the world, each bringing their own realities, challenges, and victories. These human exchanges, sometimes simple, sometimes very emotional, reminded us of the importance of collective work and mutual support.
From March 23 to April 2, the Quebec community sector rallied with remarkable energy and strength across the province. Supporting organizations that work tirelessly every day to promote the well-being of their communities is a core value that guides our actions. That is why we were committed to being present, engaged, and supportive throughout this historic movement.
These days of action gave us the opportunity to meet passionate, dedicated, and deeply inspiring people.
A tangible contribution both on the ground and online
Our involvement took two very concrete forms to support you during these two intense weeks:
The movement’s official platform: We are particularly proud to have provided the official platform to promote all the events that took place from March 23 to April 2. This includes our contribution to the creation of the official interactive map, a valuable tool that made it possible to map, discover, and track all the members and initiatives that brought the community to life across Quebec.
On the ground on April 2: For the main highlight of the protest in Quebec City, thousands of people marched together. Our team was there, right in the thick of things, to support you with our biggest smiles and hot coffee in hand. A huge thank you to our partners at Café Oui Oui, a cozy neighborhood café in Limoilou, which generously provided the coffee for the occasion.
